Kevin Lilly

Founder and Executive Director

Kevin Lilly is the current founder and executive director of Samaritans Steps. He started the organization in 2014 during his senior year in college. In school he studied entrepreneurship, and for me Samaritans Steps is the perfect marriage of his love of entrepreneurship as well as his love of serving others. His christian faith, love of others, love of his city, and love of justice is what drive him.

Kevin has an extensive background in advocacy work ranging from writing articles to even testifying in a hearing at the State House in support of a bill to provide services for Homeless Youth. He also served as a one of the advocacy co-leaders for Harvard's Y2Y shelter. In 2014 he was awarded the Student Leader in Civic Engagement Award, and Senior Service & Social Justice Award from the Lasell College Center for Community Based Learning. He also was awarded Lasell College's Student Leader of the Year award during his senior year. In 2015 he was awarded the Community Leadership Award at the Minority Business Expo, and in 2016 he was also appointed by Governor Baker to the Special Commission on Unaccompanied Youth!

Besides Samaritans Steps, his hobbies include traveling, going to live shows, reading, and getting tattoos.
